Counseling Connections for Change – a non-denominational, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization created to strengthen the mental health needs of Brazoria County.  Full-service counseling center guided by Christian principles.

Safe Haven Refuge – a nonprofit 501(c)(3) counseling center for survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual abuse or trafficking. Other Counseling Services offered:  ADD/ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Crisis/Trauma, Depression, Eating Disorders, Grief and Loss, Mood and Anxiety Disorders, OCD, Self-Esteem, Stress Management, Women’s Issues.

Recovery – Search for AA, GA, MA, and NA in and around Pearland. – Ministry to guide couples through the process of falling in love, growing in love and rescuing lost love. Marriage Helper 911 Retreats specifically designed for marriages that appear to be beyond repair, beyond hope, and on the brink of divorce.



Christian Helping Hands – a non-profit  501(C)(3) organization, formed in 1983 by local churches in our area to help people in need by providing short-term assistance with basic needs to help the less fortunate become more self-sufficient. CHH gives aid to people who need food and clothing.  In other emergencies, CHH helps people with medicine, gasoline, rent, utilities, and overnight lodging, all on a limited basis, as our resources allow.  For long-term needs, CHH refers people to the proper public and private agencies.

Pearland Neighborhood Center – Neighborhood food pantry.

Community Assistance Providers (CAP) of Pearland – Community Assistance Providers of Greater Pearland (CAP) is an organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for indigent and less fortunate individuals of the Greater Pearland Area by providing assistance through our Community Assistance Providers Fund.  Assistance can vary from providing prescription medication or utility bills to wheelchairs and hospital beds.

PTA Swap Shop – Pearland ISD clothing-exchange for school uniforms and formal prom attire.  Vouchers also available.

Family Promise of Clear Creek – Local non-profit that helps transition families out of homelessness to permanent housing by providing a safe environment that includes shelter, meals, and hospitality. They offer supportive services to aid in the search for employment and housing.

Women in Leadership Society
Help single women and their children achieve independent living.



Adult Reading Center –  Provides instruction at no charge to adults with limited literacy or English skills. Other services: citizenship exam preparation, GED, job skills training, computer learning lab.

Kids’ Tutoring – #iCan at Cross Roads Church in Pearland.



Anchor Point Pregnancy Center – Support for unplanned pregnancies.  All services provided free of cost.  No insurance? No job? No problem.  You have three advocates to support you through this process: a medical professional, a client advocate, and a spiritual mentor.  These professionals serve as your personal advocates to facilitate cost-free medical services, counseling, education, mentorship, and material assistance.

Beltway 8 South Crisis Pregnancy Center – Provide free and confidential support services for those involved in unplanned pregnancies.
